Have you ever wondered what makes something a weed? Join us as we explore this question with artist Anahita Norouzi in her work Alien Bloom. Together, we will collect plants often considered “invasive” or classified as weeds, and discover more about their histories, while sharing about our own histories of family, culture, and migration. We will learn how to scan and animate plants, which will be integrated into a virtual space. If you like stories, nature, art, or technology, this activity is for you!
