De la cuisine au studio explores the paths of twelve women artists of three different generations: women who signed the Refus Global manifesto in 1948, first women film directors who worked at the NFB in the 1970’s as well as media artists implicated at Studio XX: featuring Madeleine Arbour, Christine Brault, Mireille Dansereau, Dorothy Todd Hénaut, Stéphanie Lagueux, Bérengère Marin-Dubuard, Helena Martin Franco, Terre Nash, Anne-Claire Poirier, Françoise Riopelle, Bonnie Sherr Klei and Françoise Sullivan.
Après des études en cinéma, Anna Lupien a complété une maîtrise en sociologie à l’UQAM. Intéressée autant par la création artistique que par les questions de société, elle se dédie tour à tour à la recherche, à l’écriture, à la réalisation et au travail de l’image.
