Montréal-Python 32: Prehistoric Panorama
We are very pleased to invite you to join us on October 22 when we welcome Montréal-Python 32, Prehistoric Panorama at Studio XX for one of their regular meet-ups. The show starts at 6pm at Studio XX.
Montréal-Python’s mission is to promote the growth of a lively and dynamic community of users of the Python programming language. They promote free and Open Source Software, and want to foster community collaboration.
Our main speaker:
Alexandre Bourget will present a talk entitled “Gevent-socketio, cross-framework real-time web live demo”. gevent-socketio is across-framework Python implementation of the Socket.IO protocol, based on gevent’s cooperative concurrency model. Alexandre is the maintainer of the project. In this talk, we’re going to have a live demo of its capabilities by building Google Analytics in 45 minutes.
