The artists, as Trans-Futonik Griots* Guides, will move around the building carrying mini-souccs chargers, exchanging pure solar power for stories and providing helpful, anecdote-filled guidance to festival events. The SOUCCS Station, an immersive sculpture that retells/broadcasts these stories via FM signals, will be on view in between performances. Additionally, audio broadcasts will project stories to FM radios located throughout the building via a solar powered, short-range, hand-built FM radio transmitter. *Trans-Futonik: beings from the future who use Tectonik power to time-shift. Griots: the story-containing memory of a village.
