In honour of our 15th anniversary, Studio XX is proud to present Wired Women Sal@n 85 as a daylong celebration of 15 years of art + women + technology.

The event will begin with a DIY Radio Making workshop linked to our XX Files radio show and will continue with a presentation by Edith Normandeau, followed by a SANDDE presentation by Emily Pelstring and Claire Blanchet, a panel discussion entitled “Circuits : Benders, Overloaders and Switchers” moderated by Krista Lynes and a closing party hosted by VJ Chocobeets + DJ Claire.

As part of the festivities, Studio XX will also inaugurate our exhibition/gallery space by featuring the works of artist Lorraine Oades which the public is invited to visit from October 22 to November 11, 2011. The celebration will also feature the launch of an Artefact highlighting the 15 years of Studio XX.
