Studio XX to participate at the 2009 Citizen Media Rendezvous

Studio XX and the Matricule Archive will be featured as a case study for discussion at the first-ever Citizen Media Rendezvous to be held on August 26, 2009 at the Society for Arts and Technology at 7:00 PM.

“The Citizen Media Rendezvous is an occasion for colleagues working in independent, citizen-based media to come together to discuss and brainstorm around topics like content, technology, community collaboration and innovative business models. Our goal? To help open up new perspectives on the rapidly changing world of social media.

The 2009 edition will bring together bloggers, engaged citizens, photographers, citizen journalists, media experts, alternative media buffs, and web media businesses, alongside contributors to CitizenShift, Parole citoyenne, Media@McGill, l’INM, and other social organisations.” said organizer Peter Zhao.
