Anna Friz is a sound and radio artist, curator, and theremin enthusiast. She has produced and curated numerous original works for ORF Kunstradio (Austria), Danmarks Radio, CBC, and campus/community stations such as CiTR Vancouver, CKUW Winnipeg and CKUT Montreal. Since moving to Montreal, she has performed in audio and multi-media events with Studio XX, Videographe, Silophone, Winnipeg’s send + receive festival of sound and the Akademie der Künste in Berlin. She was co-curator and artist for Radiotopia at Ars Electronica 2002. She is a founding member of the Thereminions Theremin Orchestra, and plays in Central Dispatch together with Annabelle Chvostek and others.
