Annie Wong

Annie Wong is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and community organizer. Through installation and performance, Wong’s current research includes the aesthetics of social engagement, rituals of remembrance, and durational poetics. She has presented in across Canada including SBC Gallery, Art Gallery of Ontario, Intersite: Visual Arts Festival (Calgary, AB), and Third Space (Saint John, NB). Her writing has appeared most recently in Canadian Art, Performance Research Journal, MICE Magazine, and The Shanghai Literary Review. She holds a BA in English Literature and MA in Communication and Culture from York University.
