Corinne Beaumier

Through photography and video, Corinne Beaumier alludes to lived experiences or provokes situations in which she takes part. Revisited archival images, improbable scenarios that are sometimes scripted, sometimes incidental, emotions of confusion or strange humour, the tone of her work altogether borrows from her tragicomic vision of the world.

Corinne Beaumier completed her BFA, major in photography at Concordia University in Montreal in 2015. She held her first solo exhibition in 2014 and has been involved in multiple group exhibitions and curating projects since then.
