D. B. Boyko

DB Boyko, polyvalent musician, consecrates herself to musical creation in all its aspects: interpretation, composition, improvisation and interdisciplinarity. As a singer, she interprets contemporary acoustic and electroacoustic works, as well as those from an extra-Occidental tradition. She has composed pieces for dance and theatre, solo voice and gamelan. A member of VIEW, she is also director of and composer for the community art project, Songbird Oratorio. She directs the New Music Section at the Western Front, an artist-run centre in Vancouver.
