Ember Roselle
Ember is a bilingual multimodal creative; creative director, graphic designer, facilitator, educator, poet, and above all an artist. Based in Tiohtià:ke/Moniang Montréal, they explore language, gender, and the human condition throughout all their practices; from journal-writing to web building, from digital spaces to digital gardens, embroidery to spoken word, and beyond. They are passionate about bringing humanity and the tactile back into the word of design.
They are an alumnae of Concordia University (Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Major in Fibres & Material Practices) having also studied Graphic Design at Bauhaus Universitat in Weimar, Germany. They have exhibited their work in workshops, public spaces, and galleries such as Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and abroad.
