Émilie Grenier

Co-curators: Digital Ludology

Emilie Grenier’s work focuses on broken momentary narratives and storytelling. Her love affair with film and the cinematic has only deepened with the evolution of new media, allowing the medium to transform. This openness to alternative has brought her to reflect on the poetics of space, through a research fellow on augmented reality (AR), and a master’s degree on film and new media. Her current projects of interactive storytelling aim to re-think audio and/or video making, applying ideas of intimacy both immediate and distant to provoke the user and challenge its assumptions about its surrounding environment. She hopes to pursue her creative work on interactive experiences and content creation in various platforms, including games, textiles and electronics. She strives for uniqueness and emotion.
