Fili 周 Gibbons (we/they/them) – is an interdisciplinary queer non-binary / plural artist whose work embraces musical performance (cello), as well as writing, video art, movement and electronics. In 2018, they set up a small production company, Studio Apothicaire, specializing in audiovisual productions at the crossroads of music, sound and the arts. They are passionate about improving access and representation within audio culture, and in addition to creating online materials and resources – facilitating 1-to-1 audio workshops and mentoring. They currently work in a variety of community and professional contexts to support the plurality of voices, expressions and sonic experiences.
