Heidi Tikka

Heidi Tikka is a media artist and professor at the UIAH Media Lab in Helsinki, Finland. In the context of feminist analysis, she has inquired into spatialities, distance and representation. Her installations explore visual technologies in the production of embodied and immersive experiences. Currently, her research elaborates on the notion of affectivity in interface design and media art. The artist will speak of her practice and research, as well as introduce Media Lab. The event will be streamed on the Web and internauts will be invited to participate via a chat.
