Jen Reimer

Jen Reimer is Montreal based composer and performer who creates site-specific performances and recordings in resonant and urban locations. She works with horn and electronics to create an immersive and ambient soundscape that responds to the harmonic, rhythmic and timbral textures present in specific urban environments. Jen received a Bachelor of Music in composition and performance from the University of Alberta and a Graduate Diploma in performance from Concordia University. In 2008 and 2009 she was an artist-in-residence at the Banff Centre for the Arts. She collaborates with Max Stein (Montréal Sound Map). They have created performances in various resonant and transient locations. They recently released a 10″ vinyl featuring two of their live performances.
