Joanna Lai

Joanna Lai is learning to illustrate and narrate user-interface experiences through watching, hearing, interacting or incorporating accessible electronic commodities as part of the medium. She is very interested by the accommodation of technology into everyday life and the divides between internet and outernet. Joanna Lai is an independent curator and installation artist based in Montreal, Canada.  She is currently co-director at Coatcheck Gallery and pursuing studies in East Asian Art.
