Julia Piccolo

Julia Piccolo’s work links textile practices, decorative art, architecture and computer. Holder of both a master’s degree in visual arts (Fine Arts from Nantes, France) and a master’s degree in social sciences (School of Higher Studies in Social Science – EHESS – Paris, France), she weaves together art history and architecture, media theory and feminist thinking in order to offer colorful and organic installations where painting, sculpture and digital video blend and respond to each other.
