Karine Rathle

Karine Rathle is an interpreter, teacher, choreographer, rehearsal, mediator and researchers in dance and dance science. Dance and movement form an integral part of Karine’s life, she developed a solid basis in classical ballet to Pierre Laporte. Since then, she has expanded her experience to include contemporary dance, argentine tango, contact improvisation, modern dance and flamenco, integrating somatic principles into the movement. She has performed internationally and continues to create multidisciplinary and collaborative work. Karine’s work is fueled by an interest in creating a multidisciplinary, personal and authentic language. Going beyond the perception of physical limits, Karine aspires to integrate movement, image and theatrical aspect as much in the creation, and performance of the dance.
