Laura Barron

Laura Barrón lives and works in Mexico City. In 1992, she completed studies in Visual Arts at the UNAM, and in Photography at the Colombia College Panamericano. Her subtle and delicate photographic work in black and white has been rewarded with numerous prizes, notably the Acquisition Prize at the 8th Biennal in Photography (Mexico, 1997). She has had numerous individual exhibitions throughout South America and since 1989, has participated in several group exhibitions in Mexico, the United States, Canada and internationally.
