Lea Castonguay
Lea Castonguay uses photography and mise en scène to interrogate the concept of self-consciousness. Through the lense of documentary studies, she explores the tensions surrounding social meetings, focusing on presence, interaction and gestures. In various autobiographical staged scenarios, she composes a chronical of authenticity, intimacy and representation. Lea Castonguay is currently pursuing undergraduate studies at UQAM’s École des Arts Visuels et Médiatiques.
