Leila Sujir

Leila Sujir is an artist and a professor at Concordia University in the Studio Arts Department in Montreal. Her video works have been shown in group shows at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, theTate Gallery in Liverpool, U.K. as well as galleries and festivals all over the world, and are in collections, including the National Gallery of Canada. Since 2005, Leila Sujir has been working with Maria Lantin, under the group labelTulip Theory; their on-going project, Breath I/O, is an interactive 3D video installation, funded by a three year SSHRC Research Creation grant.
