Marie-Ann LaRoche

Marie-Ann LaRoche is a multidisciplinary artist born in Quebec. She grew up in Ottawa and Quebec before moving to Montreal in 2020. She recently graduated from the Studio Art program at Concordia University. Her artistic practice is fueled by subjects like solitude, liminal spaces and personal relationships. With technology and digital culture at the forefront of her practice, she blends neurodivergence and femininity with her deep love of cats to create works that are not afraid to be cute, funny and strange. Recently, she has been creating charming stories from the alien perspective of inanimate objects.
