Mary Shannon Will

Mary Shannon Will was born in Ithaca, New York, USA and presently lives in Calgary, Alberta. She studied at the Archie Bray Foundation, Helena, Montana, 1974, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 1970-71, and University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa, 1964-67. She has taught at the Emily Carr College of Art & Design, Vancouver, B.C and the Tuscarora Pottery, Tuscarora, Nevada, 1975 & 1969. Recently she participated in the Women and Paint Residency at Banff. Her works are part of numerous collections including the Alberta Art Foundation; Canada Council Art Bank; Edmonton Art Gallery; Glenbow Museum; University of Calgary; University of Lethbridge; and University of Alberta. She has had numerous solo exhibition across Canada including at Paul Kuhn Gallery, Calgary; Miriam Shiell Fine Art, Toronto; University of Lethbridge Art Gallery, Lethbridge, Alberta; Stride Gallery, Calgary; Southern Alberta Art Gallery, Lethbridge, Alberta; and the Glenbow Museum, Calgary, Alberta. She is presently represented by Paul Kuhn Gallery.
