Maya Richman

Maya Richman is an interdisciplinary researcher and artist interested in radically transforming the social and economic landscape through open-source development and skill sharing. In 2012, she worked with the American Red Cross and Development Seed in Washington D.C., building websites featuring interactive maps. She has worked as a research assistant for Gabriella Coleman investigating the politics of hackers,as a web developer for Young}ist, and as a radio show host for StudioXX, a feminist, artist-run centre. She holds a BA in International Development with a minor in Computer Science from McGill University and lives in Montreal, Quebec.
