Naghmeh Sharifi

Multidisciplinary Iranian-Canadian artist, Naghmeh Sharifi has been based in Montreal since 2009. Sharifi holds a BFA in Visual Arts and Psychology from the University of British Columbia and completed her Master’s degree in Visual Arts at Concordia University in 2018. Since 2008, her work has been exhibited in Tehran, Berlin, Mexico City, Los Angeles, Toronto and Skopje (Macedonia). In Montreal, she has presented her work at the MAI (2018), Leonard & Bina Ellen Gallery (2016) and Centre Phi (2021). Sharifi was selected for the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts’ Impressions Residency in 2015 and for the Parallel Lines virtual residency at Centre Phi in 2020.
