Rachel Echenberg

Rachel Echenberg is a Montreal performance and multidisciplinary artist. She has taken part in artist residencies and workshops in Quebec and the United States and is active in the performance collective Play Group. Since 1992 her performance and video work has been presented in exhibitions, symposiums and art festivals throughout Canada and in Switzerland, France, Poland, Italy and Japan. This winter she is doing an on-going series of public actions and sculptures that place her body heat against the winter cold (Fondre : une série de sensations hivernales, galerie La Centrale).
