Rah

Rah is an Iranian- Canadian video, photo and performance artist. In 2013, Rah won the Ottawa Art Gallery Graduating Student Award of Excellence and in 2012 she won the SAW Video award. In 2013, Rah was invited by the Williams College Museum of Art to create a performance in response to Diana Abu- Jaber’ s book, Crescent.Rah was also the recipient of the Studio Das Weisse Haus residency in Vienna for fall 2014 and Artslant’s Georgia Fee Artist/ Writers Residency in Paris. In January 2014, Rah was invited to do a two month placement in Paris where she focused on producing her video called Oreo.Rah’s work has been published and exhibited in galleries and museums internationally.
