Sandra Rodriguez

Sandra Rodriguez is a director, writer and producer of documentary films, as well as a PhD student in Sociology of media technologies at Université de Montréal. Initially interested in film studies, she chose to pursue a master’s degree in Communications and International relations, shared between Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium) and Université du Québec à Montréal. She currently has a scholarship from the Quebec Research Fund on Society and Culture (FQRSC), is a member of the Research Group on Institutions and Social Movements (GRIMS) and a researcher involved in the project “Génération C” from CEFRIO. She is completing a doctoral thesis on digital innovations and the social and political engagement of the “Information Generation” (the 20–35 year-old).
