Sharrae Lyon

Sharrae Lyon is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and facilitator who believes in the powerful role of science-fiction and futurism to answer the spiritual and internal questions around “Otherness.” Her work is grounded and shaped by the counter-narratives against the processes of colonization. Her writings on Afrofuturism have been published on ForHarriet, and she has delivered workshops at the Allied Media Conference in Detroit under her current project, Alien Nation, which explores race and identity, while challenging human identity.
