Shauna Janssen
Shauna Janssen is an urban curator with a background in theatre and interdisciplinary studies. Her research focuses on the cultural politics of post-industrial urban spaces, public space, site-specific and socially-engaged art practices. In 2010, Shauna founded Urban Occupations Urbaines, a curatorial platform for artists, communities, and the public to creatively and critically engage with cities and urban change. Since graduating from the Humanities interdisciplinary Phd program (Concordia 2014), Shauna has been co-curator of Points de vue (Fonderie Darling, 2014), and has held the role of Associate Producer of the international performance event, Encuentro, held in Montréal (2014). She presently works for the Topological Media Lab, Concordia University.

Le Possible is a collaborative intervention on a protected urban landscape in Montreal called Le Champ des possibles (the Field of Possibilities) by Cynthia Hammond, Camille Bédard, Shauna Janssen, Roger Latour, and Itai Peleg.
