Stéphanie Lagueux has been working at Ada X (Studio XX) since 2002, first as a webmaster and then as a coordinator of mediation and digital development. As a visual and media artist, she works in duo with Jonathan L’Ecuyer to implement interactive and participative experiences in the public space in addition to leading workshops and mediation activities. After completing a bachelor’s degree in art and design at the Université du Québec en Outaouais in 1998, she began her practice in the region’s artist-run centers and completed a certificate in education. Based in Terrebonne, she is involved in regional cultural development within the organizations Art Partage and Rond Point, and works to create fruitful links to promote access to digital arts. Stéphanie is a member of the board of Artenso, a research center for innovative social practices, a member of the board of directors of the artist-run center Verticale in Laval and a member of REPAIRE, a group of independent arts peers for research and experimentation.
