Sylvie Lacerte

Sylvie Lacerte is an independent curator, author and researcher. She is currently Guest Professor at the École des arts visuels, Université Laval, Québec, Artistic Director at Spirale magazine, as well as a Visual Arts Specialist for the Politique d’intégration des arts à l’architecture, MCCCFQ.

Sylvie Lacerte was coordinator of the DOCAM Research Alliance at the Daniel Langlois Foundation (2005 – end of 2007). Her book La médiation de l’art contemporain was published in 2007.

Sylvie Lacerte’s most recent curatorial project was Vera Frenkel : Cartographie d’une pratique | Vera Frenkel: Mapping a Practice, featured at SBC Gallery of Contemporary Art, Montréal, during the fall of 2010.
