Sylvie Laplante

Sylvie Laplante is interested in the layout configurations, the possibilities of access and the crossing of territories and borders. Having worked as a tour guide, she questions the tourism world. By means of captations, interversions or markings made on routes, she constructs cartographies that invite to ” new trajectories “. Through displacements of the body, urban actions or maneuvers over long distances, she amalgamates audio documents, video, collections of artifacts, sculpture, drawing, photographic documentation, into installations and devices.
