Tania Perlini
Following her undergraduate studies at the Université Paris X Nanterre in Paris and Carleton University in Ottawa, Tania Perlini completed her Master’s degree in art history at McGill University in Montreal. Today, she is pursuing her PhD at the Université du Québec à Montreal as a recipient of the Fond de recherche sur la société et la culture’s doctoral scholarship. Her thesis explores the role of ethical value in the assessment of artistic merit. In addition to her studies, she has worked for the Canada Council for the Arts as well as SAW Gallery. She is presently working as a lecturer at the École des arts visuels et médiatiques of UQAM as well as a research assistant for the research project « Genèse de l’excellence photojournalistique », presided by Dr. Vincent Lavoie, director of graduate studies in the art history department at UQAM.
