tobias c. van Veen

tobias c. van Veen is a theorist, turntablist, and media artist, exploring sound system occupations and renegade broadcasting media since 1993. van Veen is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Communications at the Université de Montréal, and Guest Editor of the Afrofuturism Special Issue of Dancecult: Journal of Electronic Dance Music Culture. Tobias is currently co-editing a special issue of Dancecult exploring Echoes from the Dub Diaspora with Hillegonda Rietveld, and a collection on control technics with Anna Feigenbaum.
