Women With Kitchen Appliances

Women With Kitchen Appliances (WWKA) live and work in Montreal . They are a rock band, a sound project, a cabaret act, a performance art collective, a synchronized rubber glove routine, a BBQ chicken washing machine, a confectionary flour christmas jingle. They are three or four or five or six. Identical. Interchangeable. Disposable. Dead serious. WWKA’s dream: to insert their appliances into a wide range of environments, of human sounds, constructions, dwellings, lifestyles, gatherings, activities, habits, addictions, phobias, pleasures, craziness, and wonders.
