Amelia Wong-Mersereau

Amelia Wong-Mersereau is the Editor-in-Chief of Yiara Magazine. She is currently in the undergraduate Communication and Cultural Studies program, with a minor in Art History. Her research centers around notions of cultural identity and critical discourses of representation. In particular, she is fascinated by the intersection of feminism and postcolonialism in contemporary art and photographic practices. Amelia has worked with Concordia’s Ethnocultural Art Histories Research Group and recently completed a semester abroad at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam.
