Ellen Tang

Since graduating from Queen’s University, Ellen Tang has worn many hats in documentary production, video art, writing and editing. Her short films « medicine » and « Girl Any More » have screened at festivals across Canada and internationally. She is also a founding member of MAKILA, a Montréal cooperative dedicated to socially relevant new media. While she experiments using different tools, a preoccupation with issues of culture and identity is a constant theme in her work. Born in Hong Kong, Ellen speaks English, French and Cantonese.
