Marie-José Sat

Marie-José Sat was born and educated in France. She received a Fine Arts degree from the École des Beaux-Arts de Nimes, France, in 1989. While in France she worked for the Contemporary Art Museum at Nimes. She now resides in Oakland, California, where she wrestles her carriers as an artist and mother. She collaborated with the artist Sonya Rapoport in a poster presentation of Brutal Myths: An Herbal Healing of Misogynous Myths at ISEA 96 in Rotterdam.
